Cami: Senior

I've known Cami since we were in primary, and she is one of the most amazing and strong people I know. It was a complete privilege to take her senior pictures, and I hope these pictures do her justice!

These past two weeks we've been doing fashion shoots at EVIT, of the outfits the fashion students have been designing all year. Even though it's for the student's portfolios, and close ups aren't really needed, I can't help but use that oh-so-amazing lens to zoom in and capturing their beautiful faces! Working in the studio is definitely a challenge, you have to be a people person to make the model comfortable in front of the camera and comfortable with you, but the photographers at EVIT face that head on!

I had the opportunity a couple weeks ago to take pictures of the fashion teacher at EVIT, who is about six months pregnant. I throughly enjoyed it and hope she did too!!

I think this is my favorite. I realize it doesn't show her now-bulging stomach, but I think it captures the wonder of being a mother.

I have recently become aware of Justin Hackworth and his 30 strangers project and am absolutely fascinated by it. Until I am legit to have such a huge and amazing photography project, I decided to make up my own. Every time I go to a Temple and take pictures, (it's impossible for me NOT to take pictures) I'm going to edit them in a different way, something to really show how beautiful and sacred these buildings really are. Here's the Salt Lake Temple, my favorite one is unfortunately not loading, but you get the jist, right? The Provo Utah, Mesa, and Gila Valley temples will be coming soon!

Madddie: Senior

Maddie is one of my oldest friends and I was so excited to take her senior pictures! We got some great locations in dowtown Gilbert, her favorite book store in downtown Mesa (soooo amazing), and Mountain View high school, where she showed off some of the stuff she's learned in color guard. I'll be so sad to loose her when she's goes away to college next year, but know she'll do amazing!!

There is no such thing as too close in photography!!
